Twelve interventions were developed as part of the Urban Design Framework for the neighbourhood. These projects were seen to be quick, simple and effective in attempting to deal with the immediate shortcoming of the space, whilst also moving towards realising the larger aspirations of neighbourhood growth. Projects included guerilla street lighting, parking, walkways, play courts, honesty libraries, gardening and signage. These projects needed to locate themselves between the finance model of the development and city by-laws, whose limits were creatively tested.
