As park of the Ivory Park Street Life Study, this project sought to use the eyes (and lens) of local street photographers in Ivory Park to showcase the experiences of street life in the township. The purpose of this exercise was to first hand illustrate the vibrancy, challenges and complexity of social and entrepreneurial life in the streets of a South African township. Facebook was used as a platform for dissemination and dialogue of issues that emerged. The project was part of 14 case studies internationally used to articulate the voices of the marginalised.
