This studio studied low-income-inner-city-private schools; a phenomena that has radically changed the livability within the inner city of Johannesburg. Working with the backlog of schools, individuals have made a social business by converting low-value real estate to meet educational needs. Students were asked to respond to the adaptations through a design studio. The final exhibition and exam took place in inner city school playground-come-courtyard.
