Through the two-semester Guest Professorship program at ETH Zurich, two studios where conceptualized to explore specific ideological and design thinking that emanates form the global south. The first studio – Executive City, Lived City- explored the role of the architect in designing to enable a meaningful lived response to urban infrastructure set up by the state or market. The second studio – Breakthrough: Techniques of Working – was premised on the idea that genius and original work has a lot to do with how one applies oneself in the design process rather than being born with talent.
